For my first avatar

For my second avatar

Last week we got to shoot either ourselves of someone else to use for our Avatar for copy right reasons. Ilona thankfully agreed to be my model as I did NOT want my photo taken. I've decided which photo out of 5 that I think looks the best and would work with what I'm doing the greatest. I decided on my favorite picture for my first avater because I think it's exactly the right zoom and you can clearly see the eyes and hair which is going to be my main focus for it. And I chose the picture on the close side angle for my second avatar. these are all of the pictures I took of Ilona and the two that I have chosen.

We had to choose a celebrity to turn into an avatar. I couldn't really think of anyone so I chose Emma Watson again because I really like her. I have started but still have a lot to do. This is what I've done so far...

I chose the three images above to represent the emotion 'sad'. I think these images remind me of sadness because they have lots of dark colours and the expression and body language from the people in the images make them look sad.

I chose the three images above to represent the emotion 'love'. I think these pictures express love because they have warm colours and are bright and are beautiful. There are also heart shapes in two of them. And most have more than one person in them and holding hands which can express love in some way.

I chose the three images above to represent the emotion 'anger'. I think that the people in the images are angry because they are red in the face and some are clenching there teeth.

Today we started working on brushes. For me, brushes are kind of difficult to do but still fun. I really liked the paint splat Mr Andrews did and really want to learn how to do something like that!

I am really enjoying Creative Media so far. I loved altering the frog and the emu together. I like how mine actually looks kind of cute. I also did a mixture of a penguin and a llama! We have also been doing various avatars which was fun to. We would put different type of skin onto our faces. The only problem was I had to use my face as the avatar which was awkward and kinda scary looking as I didn't get to finish it. :/ Also, We were using Emma Watson (who is one of my favourite actresses and plays hermione in one of my favourite movies) to practice touching up photos, as in making the skin clear etc. That was a lot of fun to do. We also did another totally opposite thing with Emma's picture which was trying to make it look bad, which was ironically making her look even more cooler. I've been learning so much for the past few weeks and can't wait to start on my avatar (hopefully using pictures off the internet, or at least of people other than me!) :)
