After I finished the dot point planning if my short film, I had to make my shot-list. I had to include specific camera techniques being used and how many second the shot is going to take up. While doing this I change some of my original ideas which I think are much easier and better. Here it is...  

The Locker:

• Follows behind a girl going down the hall next to the lockers (close up) '5' 
• Girl turns into the lockers (camera spins around still behind her) '3' 
• (when camera is next to her) the girl opens the locker '2' -puts her school books in the locker (camera over her left shoulder) '2' 
• Closes locker and starts to walk away opposite the camera (medium long shot from inside locker station) '3' 
• A big bang comes from the locker and the girl jumps and stops ( ^ ) '2' 
• She turns around and walks over to her locker (medium close up behind her) '3' 
• Opens the locker and finds that the books aren't there anymore (camera over her left shoulder) '4' 
• Second locker makes a bang sound (Side close up of the second locker with girl in the background, blurry) '2' 
• She hears a big bang from the other locker and walks over to it (girl blurry until her feet reach the side of the locker- the locker is on the floor) '5' 
• Her hand reaches down and opens the locker ( ^ ) '3' 
• Pulls her books out of the second locker and starts to get up (camera follows the books in her hands as she gets up) '4' 
• Shows her face looking at the books confused (zooms out- medium close up) '2' 
• She turns around and walks back to the other locker and opens it (medium close up) '3' 
• Holds out her pencil case into the locker (long shot from inside the locker station) '2' 
• The pencil case appears sticking out in the other open locker ( ^ ) '2' 
• The takes it out and puts her hand in the locker and it appears sticking out of the other locker ( ^ ) '2' 
• She takes her hand out and looks at it shocked (medium close up) '2' 
• She reaches down out of shot of camera and pulls out playdoe '3' 
• She turns away from the camera (which is facing the locker station) and her hands are moving rapidly to make make it look like she is making something with the playdoe (medium long shot) '3' 
• She turns around and holds out in her hand with a small playdoe person on it, then the camera slowly moves to focus on the playdoe man (close up) '3' 
• The playdoe man starts to wave at the camera ( ^ ) '2' 
• The girl smiles (close up on girl) '1' 
• She turns and holds her hand in the locker and the man walks off her hand and turns to look at her (camera over her left shoulder) '5' 
• She closes the locker with the man in the locker and then opens it again with him not in there ( ^ ) '4' 
• She closes the locker again (long shot) 
• (medium long shot) The camera slowly moves into the locker until it is dark '4' 
• The camera is suddenly moving through leaves and bushes '3' 
• (from behind him) When the camera gets to the end of the bush into the light, the playdoe person is looking around in wonder (medium close up) '1' 
• (camera in front of him) He is looking slightly above the camera and he says "wow" '3' 
• He looks around for a second then runs off out of camera frame (medium long shot) '3-4' 
• Runs up to the bottom of the stairs (medium long shot) '2' (from in front of him) looks up scared (close up- camera pans up the stairs to show how high and long the stairs are) then gulps (long shot) '6-7' 
• Starts to walk back a little bit, breaths once heavily, then runs towards the stairs (medium long shot) '6' Continuous action shot beside him going up the stairs (fast) '9-10' : 
• Jumps up and catches the edge of the first step 
• Gets on step and rolls to get up 
• Jumps up and catches edge of step -Does a forward roll on the step to get up 
• Jumps really high and lands on his hands and runs 
• (LHS and aahs through the whole action sequence with action music) (Suddenly music rapidly stops) camera at the top of the stairs (medium long shot) '1-2' 
• Playdoe guy climbs up the last step puffing loudly and exhausted ( ^ ) '4' 
• Stands up exhausted then collapses onto the floor ( ^ ) '5-6' 
• Mumbles to himself '2-3' then gets up, still tired and wobbly then runs off camera shot ( ^ ) '4-5' 
• (camera follows behind, slightly left of him) Runs towards the bush he came from and runs into it (when he runs into it the camera stops just before it reaches the bush- close up) ' 4-5' 
• There's a shot of the second locker again and you see him run out of it and slumps over, breathing heavily (medium long shot) '4-5' 
• the girl's foot appears next to him (close up) '1-2'
• She picks him up and he smiles (medium close up of girl and playdoe guy) '4-5' 
• THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) 
• Ending credits... XD

I have finished my planning for my iStop motion film...

The Locker:

• (a girl) goes to the locker and puts her school books in the locker and close the door 
• Starts to walk away 
• A big bang comes from the locker 
• She goes back to the locker and finds that the books aren't there anymore. 
• She hears a big bang from another locker 
• She opens it and finds her books there. 
• She goes back to the other locker and puts her pencil case in the locker and holds it out 
• The pencil case appears sticking out in the other open locker 
• She takes it out and puts her hand in the locker and it appears sticking out of the other locker 
• She takes her hand out and makes a small person out of play doe 
• She puts the person into the locker and he comes to life 
• She closes the locker 
• The camera goes onto the locker but appears in another world 
• (he will be standing in front of a white board with drawings) 
• He looks around and starts walking (the background moves) 
• A rainbow appears 
• He gets distracted by the rainbow and falls down a hole 
• He falls down through the sky and falls in the ocean 
• He swims, looking around, then sinks to the bottom 
• When he lands on the ground, he looks around 
• (while he is looking around the dark figure behind him opens it's eyes) 
• He notices and slowly turns around frightened then screams when the giant fish raws. 
• He quickly swims into the camera with the fish right behind him with his mouth open 
• There's a shot of the second locker again and you see him run out of it and slumps over, breathing heavily 
• (the girl's) foot appears next to him 
• Then there's a long shot of her picking him up and he smiles 
• THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Term 2- Blog #1

Person Walking

At the start of the term I was unfortunately away for a lot of the first lessons of Creative Media. This term, the class first tried animating a ball bouncing. I was away for that lesson so I was unable to do it. The next project we did was the walking man. I was sick for the first lesson of that so when I came back to school I was a little behind. I eventually finished it though. After that, we tried animating ourselves talking. That was really interesting to do but kind of embarrassing because I had to take numerous pictures of myself making dramatic mouth movements to get a clear picture of me talking. Then I had to trace over my picture which looked awful. I haven't finished it yet though. We also tried getting a celebrities head, cutting it out in photoshop, detaching the top of the head from the bottom of the head from the middle of the mouth, putting it all of animation-ish and make it look like the person is talking. I had some trouble with this task because I had some trouble with the photoshop part of it. I didn't know exactly where to cut it and I kept messing it up. Luckily, I was able to finish it. It's not exactly the best work I have ever done but at least I got it done.

I still have a lot of catching up to do...
