Because it was free dress day I couldn't actually film anything for my real product, so I decided to practice the first part of my film with Charli. I think that the first part with her walking up next to the locker station needs some work to make it smoother. Also, it needs to have the feel of her walking like: moving up and down, more shoulder movement, etc. But other than that, I think that it was pretty good for my first try. It was also a good idea to use the tripod as it would have been impossible to keep it stable. I think this practice will really make it easier for me when I film for real.

My Playdoe Person

I have made my play doe person that the girl makes to go into the locker. The only problem with it is that it isn't very stable; but I like everything else about it. I wanted it to be cute looking. I was thinking of having a big body and then short legs and short-ish arms. I can't have the arms too short because I need him to hang from the step edge and do back flips. I also practiced the walk next to the lockers with Charli. I was planning on having a tripod anyway, but after the practice without a tripod, I realized how much I need one. Charli is tall and so when I try to have the camera the same height as her, I can't reach the button on the laptop to frame without my hand moving.
