Reflection

My group (Julian, Lauren and Isabella) and I are very happy with how our Film Noir Short is turning out. We have finally finished all of our filming which took place at school and at Isabella's house. We are all now up to editing, which we won't be doing completely separately as this is only just a rough cut. I am in charge of editing the first scene, which I am finding kind of difficult. This is because I am trying to use flashbacks but for some reason it doesn't seem to look right. It doesn't really seem to flow properly and to me, looks kind of odd. I'll need to fix this up with a little help from my group members (and if I'm lucky) Mr Andrew by the due date; Friday. Also, while looking over our shots we had filmed, Mr Andrews made some helpful critiques, resulting in us probably having to film some of the shots again. Other than that, both Mrs Andrews and my group and I are very happy with the way our filming has turned out (considering this is our first real short).

This is my dot point plan of an idea I had for the opening sequence we are suppose to make to a film...

• Girl wakes up in her bedroom
• Dizzy and confused
• Goes down stair to take panadol
• Sees two dead bodies in living room
• Has flash backs of the people 
• Starts to panic
• Suddenly wakes up again in her bedroom
• Relieved but still unsure as she still has a headache and can't remember things
• Walks back down stairs and sees no bodies
• Picks up the newspaper on the counter and is in shock as the two people who were in her dream were on the newspaper, announced murdered.

• Investigator is trying to solve murder 
• Girl is trying to regain memory and find out if she is the killer or not
• Girl visits places in flash backs to get clues
• Detective is one step behind her
