Blog #8

Because Charli had to start her film, I had to start the second part of my film with the play doe person (who I still have yet to name). At the start of filming it was going ok. I had to admit it was a little hard at some times, for example, the camera moving through the bushes. Because the floor was unstable with swigs and mud everywhere, it was hard to keep steady and smooth. Although, I think it turned out great. The hardest part of the filming of the second part was making my play doe person move. I expected it to be difficult but not as difficult as it actually was. I wanted to make my person cute, so I made him have short arms and legs and gave him little hairs at the top of his head. But because the legs where short, it was harder to make my person walk. After a while the legs were getting disoriented because I was dragging them against the concrete. This made the process more difficult as I had to keep stopping and fixing up the legs. This made me lose the placing of the person a few times and also made the filming take longer. This resulted in me having to stop in the middle if filming to go to my next class. I really need to start estimating what time it is, how long do I have left, and how long is it going to take to film a curtain scene.
