Blog #10
I have finally finished my animation! I finished filming the start of the film with Charli in one of my lessons. I didn't realize how much easier it was filming with a real person instead of a play doe person. When I said "Go", Charlie would move an inch in the action I had just showed her to do and I would take a picture. This turned out to be a very fast process. The next day was just another filming of Charlie which was easy again. I then had to add the drawings on top of the film. I exported the frames I needed to draw on and put them on animation-ish. After I had finished all of the drawings, I had realized that I had to do it on Photoshop instead of animation-ish. I had to try and figure out a way to export the little parts I had drawn on and them and put them in the right places in my film. After a very stressful and complicated 2 hours, I had worked out how to do it. I then put it all together in imovie and added a title to the start. I then started on the music in garage band. I found this difficult as well because I wanted to put a bang for the locker transportation a the start of the film. There were two places where there had to be a bang and I had to measure the exact right time to stop the music and have a bang and then continue the music. I eventually got the timing right after about six attempts. After I had finished the music I added it to my imovie film. I then had to make voice overs for my play doe man to talk. Peta Morton (a friend of mine who was at my house at the time) said that she would like to be the voice. So I recorded her saying the lines and sound effects and exported them onto my imovie. I had a lot of trouble trying to put credits onto my film and I eventually made the credits on the updated version of imovie and added them onto the end of my film and put music to it. But one of the hardest of it all was trying to export it properly. It took nearly a day to try and export it. I tried to export it has a Quicktime but it kept stoping and glitching. I then tryed to export it in another system and it worked but it was really bad quality so I couldn't use it. I then decided to export it as a dvd format and then burned my film onto a blank disc. I had finally finished my animation and exported it ready to hand in!!! XD
