Framing:
The tree takes up most of the frame white the character are off to the side. This makes the tree seem important.
Camera Positioning:
There are high angled shots, looking down at the characters making them
look weak. And low angled shots, looking up and the tree and the
Headless Huntsman, making them look stronger and more powerful.
Focus:
All shots are in focus and nothing is blurred.
Exposure:
All is mostly under-exposed, making everything seem darker and scarier.
Camera Movement:
The camera sometimes moves up through the trees to make it look like someone is watching them.
Perspective:
Sometimes it's in the main mans perspective, like when he was looking at
the heads in the tree or down at the skeleton in the grave. It was also
in the child's perspective as he looked at the light shapes spin
around.
Speed:
All panes were quite slow until the chase with the Headless Huntsman and
the main man. The camera followed beside them through the forest, which
was considerably fast.
